This HIzen Koku Jyunin Tadayoshi belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.
Keicho Shinto:Saijyosaku: Saijyo Owazamono: Hizen
The blade polish is top quality.
Habaki: Gold double foiled habaki
Blade length : 74.24 cm or 29.22 inches.
Sori : 1.35 cm or 0.53 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.13 cm or 1.23
inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.22 cm or 0.87 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo Keicho period(1596-1615).
Shape : It is wide and thick long Kissaki work.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. Chikei work is much "moist"(smooth tecture) wonderful Jigane.
Hamon : Nie deki suguha style with deep nioiguchi. Koashi attached.
Boshi is big and round turn back.
Special feature : First generation Tadayoshi cut the signature as Hizen Kuni Tadayoshi,
Hizen Kuni Jyunin Tadayoshi Saku, Musashi Daijyo Tadahiro and Hizen Kuni Fujiwara Tadahiro.
This sword was made Jyunin Tadayoshi era.
During Jyunin Tadayoshi era, he made sword like Koto Utsushi.
This Katana is fine Keicho Shinto shape and the Jigane is strikingly good.
The hamon is suguha style with deep NIoiguchi.
It is Keicho Shinto Saijyosaku title work(top class work).
It is also Saijyo Owazamono ranked sword.
