Sue Koto: Chu Jo Saku: Mino province.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to regular Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : silver single Habaki.
Blade length : 30.7 cm or 12.08 inches.
Sori : 0.4 cm or 0.15 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.58 cm or 1.01 inches.
Kasane : 0.53 cm or 0.20 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period, around Eisho era(1504-1520).
Shape : Regular size with Saki Sori Tanto.
Jigane : Itame Hada grained and visible to see the texture well.
There are Fukure on both side. There is Bo Utsuri on the Ji.
Hamon : Nie Deki, rounded Gunome Midare with Ashi.
Boshi is round shape.
Special feature : From the Jitetsu, Saki Sori shape and Higaki Yasuri,
we guess that blade was made in Mino province.
Kanenori was started since Eisho era to the end of Muromachi period.
This signature is around Eisho era's sword smith.
Unfortunately there are Fukure on the blade, but there is nice Bo-Utsuri.
This blade is typical Sue-Seki sword.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : Oblong shape iron Tsuba, dragon is engraved.
Fuchikashirae: Shakudo, cloud and dragon are engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki : Shakudo, dragon is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka: Shakudo, dragon is egnraved with gold color.
(We guarantee this blade will pass NBTHK Hozon Shinsa.
