Era : Edo period
Shape : The blade is wide and deep Sori nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame Hada well grained with Jinie attached. It is clear Jihada.
Hamon : From the Hamachi, thick Nioikuchi Suguha and then Gunome Midare
with thick Nioikuchi like Doranba Hamon with Sunagashi in the Ha.
Special feature : Third generation Igano kami Fujiwaka Kinmichi was called MIshina Kanbe.
He was ordered from the Shogunate to forged sword at Hama Palace(Goten) of Tokugawa Shogunate
at Kyoho 7th year. However, he could not attend because of his illness. Instead,
4th generation Kinmichi and 3rd generation HIsamichi has been brought to Shoguntate.
This piece is third generation Iga no kami Kinmichi and at the top of the signature
there is Kiku-mon (chrysanthemum crest) engraved. At the back it is engraved "Nippon kaji Sosho".
There are some kizu at some parts but it is no problem for display.
Compared to other 3rd generation Kinmichi swords, this katana is well made.
This blade is thick and deep Sori, nice shape. We recommend this blade very much.

Tsuba : Round shape iron Tsuba, phoenix and peony are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira and fittings: Shakudo, arabesque is engraved.
Saya : Shuro Ke nuri Saya (trachycarpus)

Width at the Kissaki : 2.15 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period Meireki era.
Rikuzen province : Shinto ; Jyosaku ranking : Wazamono cut well sword ranking.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick, good looking shape.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attach chikei work.
Hamon : Wavy notare suguha with very thick nioikuchi with a lot of ashi.
In Ha, there are many sunagashi and small kinsuji work.
Special feature : He was called Amame Gozaemon and studied at Yasusada.
After he studied at his master, and moved back to his place,
he was changed his name to Yasutomo which received one character from his master.
He helped to make sword for Daimyo Date Tsunamune who tried to make sword.
This Jigane is beautiful and also nice work.
