The blade was polished.
Habaki :copper single habaki.
Blade length : 60.4 cm or 23.77 inches.
Sori : 1 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.32 cm or 1.30 inches.
Width at the kissaki : 2.7 cm or 1.06 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Showa Period
Shape: It is 3.32cm wide with regular O-Kissaki magnificent work.
Jitetsu: Itame Hada with mix of Masame hada. Jinie is attached. There is weak Chikei work along with Masame Hada.
Hamon: Nie Deki Suguha with Nezumi Ashi attached. It is round curve with brush up Hamon.
Special feature :There were two Kunitake in late Edo Period
and also other Kunitake active during war time Showa.
The old rust of the tang tells that this work is from late Edo period however
the signature was engraved in Showa period. We distinguish this sword as Showa blade.
There is no problem obtaining NBTHK Hozon paper.
It is wide and magnificent with nice Kissaki. It is strikingly good work.
