Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Late Kamakura period, Genou era. (about 700 years ago)
Shape : Osuriage Mumei, wide and thick Katana.
There are Bohi on both side.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada, O-Itame Hada and Mokume grained
with Jinie attach. Thre are Chikei.
Hamon : Nie Deki Suguha base. There are Ko-Ashi, double-Ha
and Uchinoke. Boshi is Midarekomi Hakikake style.
Special feature : In Yamato province, there are 5 schools. Hosho, Senjuin, Taima, Shikkake and Tegai.
The style of Taima school is Suhiha with Ko-Ashi or deep Nioikuchi of Shoshu Yukumitsu.
The blade with signature are very few.
This blade is attribute as Taima Tomokiyo. Taima Tomokiyo is son of Taima Kuniyuki.
This blade is wide, thick and very healthy.
