Signature : Miyazu Han Myochin Nori Yoshishige Saku.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Syakudo single habaki.
Blade length : 70.2 cm or 27.64 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.01 cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.93 cm or 0.75 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is about 3cm Suriage and Machiokuri nakago,
The blade is rather small sori like Kanbun style.
On both sides of the blade has Bonji and Renge engraved.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha based with soft ash and yo work.
Special feature : Miyazu Han Myochin Nori Yoshishige was working at Edo.
I think his ancestor must be Kabuto maker which is named Myochin.
He must be a samurai of the Miyatu clan or sword maker hired by Miyatsu clan.
Miyatsu han(clan) Daimyo was 78,000 kook well known daimyo in Tango province.

Tsuba : On the iron plate, family crests are engraved by brass. early edo period.
Fuchikashira : On the syakudo plate, some clouds are engraved.
Saya : On the black roar saya, Tokugawa family crest and flowers are painted by gold color.
Menuki : A dragon is engraved with gold color. middle edo period.
