Shape : Bo-Hi is engraved at both side of the blade.
It is wide and thick magnificent looking katana.
The Kissaki is long and nice shape katana.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear jigane.
Hamon : Konie Deki gunome midare with Ko Gunome midare
and Notare Midare mixed. There is deep Nioiguchi.
Boshi is midarekomi style.
Special feature : The father of Kashimoto Tatsuyoshi has been called Enomoto Sadayoshi and was the student of Gassan Sadakatsu. He was extremely skillful sword smith.
He has made high end Yamato Den, Mino-Den, Bizen-Den and was also good at making Ayasugi hada work. He has learned from his father and he has learned forging skilles from his father.
Tatsutoshi has imitated the work of Masamune for this piece.
At first glance, the sword looks like Shizu work. It is well polished as well.
It is high quality excellent work.
