The blade was polished.
Habaki:gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 70 cm or 27.55 inches.
Sori : 1.45 cm or 0.57 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi :3.06 cm or 1.20 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.2 cm or 0.86 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo period Genroku era.
Shape : The blade is regular widthm thickness with suitable sori and longer kissaki elegant shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : From the Hamachi, suguha and then cyoji midair and ashinaga cyoji midair with sunagashi a lot. Boshi is round shape.
Special feature : This sword is 2nd generation Tadatsuna which is called Ikkansi Tadatsuna.
At genroku era, Edo become peaceful country and Samurai do not need swords so sword makers were trying
to make gorgeous sword like Doranba hamon and engraving on the sword.
This sword is very active Cyoji midair hamon gorgeous sword.
The owner of this sword is Mr Kiyota sensei who has 10dan iai sensei (the top ranking Iai do)and has kept so long time as his treasure.
He is now 90 years of age and determined to sell his treasure for nice person who tried to keep this sword in good condition for a long period.
