The blade is polished by high rank polisher.
Blade length : 66.4 cm or 26.2 inches.
Sori : 1.6 cm or 0.63 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the Hamachi : 3.00 cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 21.9 cm or 0.86 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Showa
Shape : Wide and thick katana with balanced curve.
Jitetsu : Koitame-hada well grained with Jinie attached.
Hamon : Gunome-midare style Nioi-deki clear Hamon.

Special feature : Sekido Teruhide succeeded the 10th generation of Sekido school. His secular name is Kikuchi Kiyokazu and borned at Meiji 33th (A.D.1900) and learned from Sekido Shuichi the 9th generation of Sekido school.
Sekido Teruhide is rather so famous from carpenters for making good planes for shaping wood. There are even carpenters deifing plane forged by him, with the household Shinto altar in their workshop.
During WW2, Sekido Teruhide forged efficient Katana mixing Tamahagane with the steel imported from Sweden. He forged many excellent Katana and good carpenter tools till he passed away at Showa 57th (1982).
This Katana is very sharp, Showa blade made very practical.
