Blade length : 24.6 cm or 9.68 inches.
Sori : 0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.41 cm or 0.94 inches.
Kasane : 0.37 cm or 0.14 inches.
Era : Taisho period.(October 1915)
Shape : Regular size Shobu Tsukuri style.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attached.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare. Boshi is Hakikake style.
Special feature : Taneaki was born is 1852 at Omi province.
In 1864, he started to study under Gassan Sadayoshi.
And he is adopted into Taneyoshi. (Taneyoshi is his uncle.)
From 1896 to 1905, he worked with Taneyoshi as the Honourable Sannomiya Yoshitane's personal sword smith.
He passed away on August 24th 1923, at age of 73.
This blade has much active work inside the Ha.
