Signature : Shinano ju Fujiwara Tadatsugu.
The blade was polished .
Blade length : 69.20 cm or 27.24 inches.
Sori : 1.20 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.26 cm or 1.28 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.07 cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Early Edo period. About Enpo era.(about 1673)
Shape : Wide and thick Katana with little Sori.
Jitetsu : Itame hada works very well, and covered in Jinie.
Hamon : Nie based, Suguha. There are Ko-ashi and Nezumi-ashi.
Boshi is round and Hakikake style.
Special feature : Tadatsugu was a swordsmith in about Enpo era.(about 1673) And he lived in Shinano area.
He engrave signature also “Sensai-maru Tadatsugu”
This blade is nice quality.
