Width at the hamachi : 3.33cm or 1.31 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.16cm or 0.85 inches.
Kasane : 0.79cm or 0.31 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumei(cut shortened)
wide and thick with long kissaki.
On the front, double hi and on the back, Suken are engraved.
Jitetsu :Masame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha hamon with ash and kogunome midare.
Boshi is round shape hakikake style.
Special feature : At a glance, the blade looks Koto blade
but checked the blade carefully the masame hada tight
so the blade was made at Late Edo period Mito school.

Fuchikashira :On the iron plate, waves design is engraved,
Saya : black color saya with blue shell powder.
Menuki : Peony flower is engraved by brass.
