This sword belongs to Jo saku ranking.
The blade is polished.
Habaki : Single silver Habaki.
Blade length : 76,0 cm or 29.9 inches.
Sori : 2,2 cm or 0.87 inches.

Width at the Hamachi : 3,35 cm or 1.32 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2,67 cm or 1.05 inches.
Kasane : 0,73cm or 0.28 inches.

Era : Gendai (modern ages)
Shape : Bo-hi engraved on both sides of the blade.
The blade is wide and thick with deep curve and longer Kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane : Itame-hada well grained with Masanagare, Jinie attach and Chikei work very well.
Hamon : Niedeki Itame Gunome-Midare and Togari Gunome-Midare mixed. Sunagashi work in Hamon.
Special feature : Hiroshi Takaba has born as son of Takaba Makoto at Gifu city, October 5th, 1954.
He studied sword making technique from his father.
Hiroshi Takaba got a lot of prizes like Tokusho once, Yushu-sho prize twice and Doryoku-sho prize 4 times.
This sword is very suitable for Iai practice because of its good balance.
Koshirae :
Saya : Black Roiro saya.
Tsuba : A cap callled Eboshi and iron fan engraved on oval shaped iron Tsuba. Signature is mentioned as ‘Heianjo Ju Nagayoshi Saku’.
Menuki : Abalone is engraved on Shakudo plate with gold color.
Fuchikashira : Waves are engraved on copper plate with gold color.
Aoi Art estimation paper : whole Oshigata.
