Width at the hamachi : 2.93 cm or 1.15 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.74 cm or 0.68 inches.
Kasane : 0.74 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Muromachi Eishou period.
Shape : It is regular size width and thickness. It is deep sori with
kissaki long.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada with mixture of mokume and jinie attached. Chikei is put and there are moist jigane.
Hamon : Nie base, gunome midare. The kissaki part are mostly suguha
with slight mix of choji mixture.
Special feature : This piece is different to other Sukesada. It is rather
early Eisho period jigane. Fine jigane.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the iron Tsuba, autumn grasses and insects are engrave with gold color
Fuchikashira : On the Shakudo plate, mantis and cricket are engraved with gold color iroe
Menuki : On the Shakudo plate, leaf are engraved with gold color iroe
Saya : Black colored Saya.
