The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold and Silver foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 69.69 cm or 27.43 inches.
Sori : 1.71 cm or 0.67 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.31 cm or 1.3 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.34 cm or 0.92 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Edo period Genroku era.
Shape : The blade is wide(3.31cm)and thick with long kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful jigane.
Hamon :From Hamachi area, suguha hamon and then oogunome doranba hamon with sunagashi and kinsuji scatter active hamon.
Boshi is round shape.
Special feature : 2nd generation Tadatsuna succeeded from his father first generation. First generation is quite well known sword maker for making Horimono(engrave) on the sword.
Gnenraly his hamon is Ashinaga Choji midare (long legs hamon) with a lot of sunagashi in Ha.
But sometimes he made elegant active Doranba (oogunome midare) like this sword.
This blade has well balanced dragon horimone which was engraved by other person. But the hormone is very similar with his own.
Koshirae : Uchikatana Koshirae, cherry blossom is painted by gold makie.
Tsuba :On the mokko style shakudo nanako plate, a dragon and clouds are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira : On the oborogin, family crest is engraved.
Saya : On the black roiro saya,
Menuki : On the oborogin, family crest is engraved,cherry blossom is painted by gold makie.
