Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 66.8 cm or 26.29 inches.
Sori : 2.5 cm or 0.98 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.77 cm or 1.09 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.83 cm or 0.72 inches.
Kasane : 0.58 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : Muromachi period Bunmei era.
Shape : The blade is regular sized with deep sori nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Itame had masa nagare with jinie attach, and it is easy to see the texture.
Hamon : Nie base gunome midare with some sharp irregular hamon gunome.
The ha is active with sunagashi, detail kinsuji.Kissaki is Hakikake and it is very long.
Special feature : This sword is called as Shiga seki school Kanenobu.
Kanenobu was working at Mino province and moved to Shiga province.
Some sword makers moved to Naoe and called Naoe shies.
The Kanonobu's jigane is rather item nagger with jinie attach strong feeling.
It is very rear to see the Kanenobu with signature.
Koshirae : The Koshirae was made by the same fittings.
Tsuba : On the round shape iron Tsuba, gamecocks are engraved with gold and silver color. Mei is Kaneshige.
Fuchikashira : On the suaka nanako plate, a hen and chick is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black roiro saya with finely strapwork, and flowers is inlayed in gold lacquer.
Menuki : On the suaka nanako plate, the chick is engraved with gold color.
