Blade length : 33.48 cm or 13.18 inches.
Sori : No sori
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.07 cm or 1.20 inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era : Edo Kanbun period.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick shallow sori hibachi blade.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Konie base with deep nioikuchi.
The boshi is brush up and round end.
Special feature : Nanki shigekuni was a stream of Yamato Tegai school who was called
Tokugawa Shogun and moved to Nanki province comply with his master Tokugawa Yorinobu.
He stayed there and his school continued until 11th generation.
The 2nd generation Shigekuni was called Monjyu Shigekuni and used this signature on the Tang.
According to the NBTHK shinsa, the blade was made by Kinsuke 2nd generation.

Tsuba : Mokko style shibuichi ishimeji and rise up Mimi slightly.
Fuchikashira : Shakudou Nankoji with bamboo tree engraved with gold
Saya : Black ishimeji unusual style saya.
Menuki : Shibuichi base with a design of the bird engraved.
