Shape : A sahkaku-yari.
Jitetsu : Itame-hada bears jinie. Blight utsuri appears on the surface.
Hamon : Ko-midare includes togari-ba. Kinsuji and sunagashi appear on the hamon. Ashi extends to the edge.
Special feature :Katsumitsu of Osafune School in Bizen province forged this spear. The School is divided and called Sue-Bizen on and after the Onin era. The representative swordsmiths of that period were Katsumitsu, Norimitsu, Tadamitsu, Sukesada and Kiyomitsu. Each of them continued for generations. Katsumitsu and Sukesada were famous for brilliant midare-ba among them.
Spears had been used generally for actual fighting in the Age of Provincial Wars and comparatively small numbers of them exist now.
