The blade was polished.
Blade length : 70.1 cm or 27.59 inches.
Sori : 1.6 cm or 0.62 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.24 cm or 1.27 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.40 cm or 0.94 inches.
Kasane : 0.71 cm or 0.27 inches.
Weight of only blade: 780g
Era : Nanbokucho period.
Shape : Wide and thick Osuriage-mumei Katana with deep Sori.
There are Bou-hi on the both sides. The blade shape is massive.
Jitetsu : Textured Itame works. There are a few rough skin parts.
Hamon : Nie based, Suguha and Gunome mix. There are Ashi and Yo.
Boshi is Hakikake and Yakizume style.

Special feature : The Uda school is said to have originated in Yamato province.
The founder Kunimitsu moved to Ecchu province in the last Kamakura period.
The texture of jitetsu is a point worthy of appreciation. Especially
conspisious chikei appeals us strongly.
Blades made in from Kamakura period to Nanbokucho period are called Ko-Uda.

This blade has a few rough skin parts.
But Jitetsu and Hamon are interesting, and the blade shape is massive.
