Blade length : 63.6 cm or 25.03 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 2.83 cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.68 cm or 0.66 inches.
Kasane : 0.77 cm or 0.30 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : Wide width with regular size rather short tanto.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada. Jinie and Chikei are attached. This is beautiful Jigane.
Hamon : Nie deki Gunome midare with Aranie.
Special feature : Motooki studied under Suishinshi Masahide at Edo.
He has great talent. He became a sword smith of Aizu-han. He moved to Satsuma province. And he studied under Motohira. He made the sword which for Kondo Isami and Hijikata Toshizo. They are in Sunsengumi group.
He made this blade at the age of 44. This blade looks like Unju Korekazu blade.
This blade has nice Koitame hada and nice works.
