Signature : Oite Kashu Ecchu Nyudo Kiju
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijo saku, Jojo saku, Jo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jojo saku ranking.
Shinto : Chujo saku ranking : Wazamono cutting test ranking : Yamato province.
The blade is polished by one of the best polisher.
Habaki :Gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length :54.24 cm or 21.4 inches.
Sori :1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the Hamachi : 2.98 or 1.06 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.26 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.71cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo period Ho-ei era (AD1704~1710)
Shape : The blade is long and wide, also thick healthy blade and long Kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane : Itame-hada well grained with Jinie attach and Chikei work beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki Gunome Midare with Aranie Doranba style.
In hamon, there are many Sunagashi and Kinsuji scatter. Boshi is wide round shape Hakikake style.
Special feature : Tsutsui Norimitsu is a son of the Ecchu-Kami Kane kuni and started to use his signature around Genroku era.
Generally Tsutui Norimitsu's Doranba has a space between Hamon and Hamon. Having very vivid wild feeling when we compare with the other swordsmiths Doranba.
Inside the hamon, we can see many Sunagashi and Kinsuji working.
Thereis a small Kizu nearby Hamachi area but not so serious.
The sword is polished by highest ranking polisher.
