Habaki :Shakudo single hanbaki.
Blade length : 36 cm or 14.17 inches.
Sori : 0.5 cm or 0.19 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.5 cm or 0.98 inches.
Kasane : 0.49 cm or 0.19 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is shobu zukuri style. slender and deeper sori.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with soft feeling and shirake utsuri appear.
Hamon : Konie deki suguha with small ashi work.
Boshi is slightly kakedasi and turns back.
Special feature : There are many Kanemitsu at Nanbokucho and Muromachi period.
We can’t say which Kanemitsu. But the jigane and hamon both looks old feeling.
Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the round shaped iron Tsuba, a lot of monkeys are engraved:The Tsuba is called Yagami school senbiki saru. Edo period.
Fuchikashira :Silver muji.
Saya : On the black color, spread tiny blue shell.
Menuki : On the shakudo plate, flowers are engraved with gold color.
Kozuka : On the shakudo nanoko plate, a Tachi mounting and Yoroi are engraved.
Kogatana :
