The blade was polished.
Habaki : silver single habaki.
Blade length : 61.66 cm or 24.27 inches.
Sori : 1.59 cm or 0.62 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.52 cm or 0.99 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.58 cm or 0.62 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Early Muromachi period.1390(600 years ago)
Shape : The blade is slender with deep sori oosuriage mumei(cut shortened) nice elegant shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame had and komokume had mixed with jinie attach beautiful jigane and slightly utsuri appear.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha and noter mixed with round Tagari shaped turnb back.
Special feature : Mihara school started from Kamamura period to late Muromachi period.
Until Nanbokucyo period is called Komihara and early to middle Muromachi is called Mihara and middle to late Muromachi period is called Sue mihara. This sword looks like Enjyu school but NBTHK issued as Mihara.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the iron plate, fans are engraved open work.
Fuchikashira : On the syakudo plain plate, 2 person are engraved probably come from Chinese famous story.
Saya : Black roar saya.
Menuki : The design of cows are engraved by Syakudo plate.
