This sword belongs to Jo Jo saku ranking.
The blade is polished by a good polisher.
Habaki : Gold failed single habaki.
Blade length : 27.28 cm or 10.74 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.28 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.58 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Early Edo period Keicyo era.
Shape : Mitsumune style, rather wide and thick nice looking style.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha is well grained jinie attach and chikei work.
Special Feature : Mutsu No Kami Daido was one of well-known swordsmiths worked from late Muromachi period to early Edo period. He made suguha hamon with small ashi and ha soft feeling.
The Koshirae : Silver Toppei aikuchi koshirae.
Fuchikashira : Kojiri : Kaerituno : Kurikata : waves are engraved by silver plate.
Saya : Russet saya.
Menuki : Coilingdragons are engraved by copper plate with gold color.
