Signature : Mumei (unsigned) Echizen Shinto
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to regular ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Single Shakudo Habaki
Blade length : 58.8 cm or 23.1 inches.
Sori :1.6 cm or 0.63 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.88 cm or 1.13 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.09 cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0.61 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanei era (AD1624~1645)
Shape : Standared shape on width, thickness and curve, rather long Kissaki Balde with Ubu-Nakago. Bohi on both sides.
Jigane : Itame-hada well grained with Jinie attach with Chikei.
Hamon : Nie-deki Suguha from Habaki and become Gonome-midare to the edge, Boshi turnes round.
Special feature : This blade is Mumei but from condition of Jigane and shape of Hamon, it seems to be Echizen Shinto.

Koshirae :
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Tsuba : Ellipse shape iron Tuba with rim. Some Kanji characters? (the words are indecipherable) is engraved. Tempo Tsuba around later Edo period.
Menuki : Crab engraved on Shakudo plate.
Fuchi : Land scape engraved on Shakudo plate with gold color. Kashira : Horn.
