This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade is polished.
Habaki : copper single habaki.
Blade length : 91,4 cm or 36 inches.
Sori : 2,2cm or 0.87 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3,71 cm or 1.46 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 3.99 cm or 1,57 inches.
Kasane : 0,78cm or 0,31 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is very wide 3,71cm in width and long 91.4cm in length and big Kissaki gorgeous gigantic Hono-to sword. On the front, dragons and clouds are engraved.
Jigane :Itame ahda well grained with jinie attach and oohada appear soft feeling texture.
Hamon :Niedeki small gunome midare with ashi scatter and boshi is also komidare and turns back round shape.
Special feature : I haven’t seen the works by the Kiku Ichimonjyu Fujiwara Kanetaka, Probably the blade was dedicated to the temple or shrine. Im very surprised by how big this Katana is.
