1 Mei (Signature) : So-makibari/Asyu Shin Kasai Songo takamori.
Maximum length : １０３.８cm or 40.88inches.

Koukei (Caliber) : ３.１cm or 1.22inches.
special feature:Asyu shin Kasai Songo is one of a Awa metal gunsmith that has left many
excellent pieces in the past. This piece is from Edo Tempo period. It is quite a wide caliber gun of 3.1cm.
It is preserved in impeccable condition. The metal of the body is in fine quality. The stand as well is in good condition too.
Despite the fact the sword past 180 years of age, the gun remain in excellent condition, thank you to the ancestor of the
owner who was successful as gun magistrate. The gun stand made of zelkova tree easily holds three guns and is also magnificent looking.
It is much regretted that the dark jigane is barely observed in the picture but it is well made, heavy masterpiece.
Era is engraved as Meiji Year 16 No, 296 Tokushima-prefecture. It is a rare and precious piece.
2 Mei (Signature) : Asyu Ishikawa Kajirou Yoshikami

Koukei (Caliber) : １.８５ cm or 0.73inches.
3 Mei (Signature) : Ishikawa Yoshijirou Yoshimori is One of Awa metal gunsmith. He is the head of the Ishikawa family and
has made many masterpiece in the past. This is Tempo period piece. There were many guns made during that time in Awa,
Iyo, Sanuki and Tosa Province Shikoku. This piece is said to be nakatsutsu(Middle size) size 1.8cm caliber piece.
As said in the upper sentence, the owner's ancestor has been a successful gun magistrate. There will not e a lot of chance
where you can find three guns at once. Era is engraved as Meiji Year 16 No, 297 Tokushima-prefecture.
It is a rare and precious piece.

Asyu shin Kasai Songo is, again, one of a Awa metal gunsmith that has left many excellent pieces in the past. This piece is
also middle size 1.85cm caliber. It is preserved in excellent condition while the beautiful texture of the metal is no different from other two pieces.

This gun also has a dark jigane which is very difficult to observe from the picture.
Era : Edo Period
Special feature :In Edo Tempo period, Awa at the top of the list, Tosa, Sanuki, Iyo, gun making flourished. Even today, the hot spot of Edo period hinawajyu production is in Awa.
It is very rare to see pieces that has stand, gunpowder box and bullet making materials.
It has wide 3.1cm caliber and it is very heavy piece just like other two pieces but wider.
As the three guns were passed down to the Yokosuka family in perfect condition. The container of the gunpowder and the materials to make bullets remain no different from the time it is made. The numbers engraved is the registration number of Tokushima prefecture.
While the shape is simple, there are air of dignity in all pieces. You may never see such a perfectly remained guns even in museums.
