Dai : Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae(NBTHK Hozon Paper)
Signature : Fujishima Tomoshige.
Chukoto: Chujo Saku: Kaga provicen.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : single Shakudo Habaki with wave design.
Blade length : 65.5 cm or 25.78 inches.
Sori : 2.0 cm or 0.7 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.75 cm or 1.08 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.90 cm or 0.74 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Early Muromachi period.
Shape : Surikage Katana, but the signature remain completely.
Reguler size Katana with Sori. There are Bo-Hi on both side.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada grained with Jinie attach. The hada pattern is well seen.
There are Bo-Utsuri.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare. Boshi is Midarekomi style.
Special feature : Fujishima schoole is a swordsmitn group of Kaga province.
It is difficult to judge the generation. But from the Jigana, Jitetsu, Sori and Hamon,
we guess this blade was made by fitst generation. At a glance, this blade looks like Bizen.
This hada pattern is well seen. This is nice blade.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : Round shape iron Tsuba with gold color. Samurai design.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanako, battle design is engarved with gold color.
Saya : Kairagi Saya.
Menuki : Shakudo Nanako, battle design is engarved with gold color.

Tenpo 15 nen 10 gatsu Hi, Tomotaka Ageru
Explanation: Old signature Nobukuni.
Tomotaka did Suriage in October 1844.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single Habaki.
Blade length : 45.6 cm or 17.95 inches.
Sori : 0.7 cm or 0.27 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.60 cm or 1.02 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.04 cm or 0.80 inches.
Kasane : 0.52 cm or 0.20 inches.
Era : Early Muromachi period. around Oei era.
Shape : Regular size, Osuriage Mumei Wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. There Chikei and Usturi.
Hamon : Nie deki, Suguha. Boshi is round shape.
Special feature : Nobukuni is a sword smith of Yamashiro province.
He succeed from Nanbokucho period to Oei era.
This blade was made Nobukuni. And then, Tomotaka did Suriage in Edo period around Tenpoera.
This blade is quite rare.
