Maximum length : 127cm or 50inches
length of barrel : 93.7cm or 36.89inches
Koukei (Caliber) : 1.1cm or 0.43inches.
Era : Early Edo Period
Special feature : It is tiger fur like patterned plate. It is octagon shape barrel with goose design engraved and inladi with silver.
Some marks remain that shows it was used in battle. It is precious in history.
Yoshu is located in Shikoku area of Japan which is now Imabari City Ehime prefecture.
There were many bun smith working there at that time. Many have
made HInawajyu.
Makino Tetsugoro Minamoto Shirekata was well known smill at the time.
