The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 63.8 cm or 25.11 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 1 is open. 2 are closed.
Width at the hamachi : 2.93 cm or 1.15 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.12cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.66 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Nanbokucho period.
Shape : There are bohi in both side. It is normal width and thickness.
O-kissaki long end katana. Nice shape.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attached.
It is well grained sword with chikei work seen.
Hamon : NIe ground gunome midare piece with sunagashi, kinsuji, inazuma attached intensely.
There are also yubashiri works and koashi well attached.
There are deep nioi line with many activities.
Special feature : Sanekage is a student of Ecchu Norishige It is dark chikei dark hada piece.
This is soden style and is active. At first glance
it looks like Ecchu Norishige sword.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : Mokko shape Shakudo nanako Tsuba, Kiri-mon are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo plate, plants are engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black roiro with Kiri-mon Makie.
Menuki : On Shakudo, pine tree and Japanese apricot is engraved.
