Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear jigane.
Hamon : Nie structure suguha with koashi attached. Nioiguchi si soft and bright.
There is ashi long attached. There is sunagashi and boshi round and burned down style.
Special feature : According to the inscription on the tang, Yasutsugu forged this wakizashi using Namban-tetsu at Edo.
Namban-tetsu was a valuable iron in ancient Japan.
Yasutsugu was a distinguished swordsmith family.
The First Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu permitted Yasutsugu the First using hollyhock crest and the character Yasu.
Jigane is clear and the hamon is typical Yasutsugu hamon.
