The blade was polished.
Habaki:copper single habaki.
Blade length : 72cm or 28.34 inches.
Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi :2.85cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.1cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0.81 cm or 0.31 inches.
Era :Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape The blade is suriage nakago and left the signature
part Aoi mon Yasutsugu Motte Nanban (tetsu)
Hamon: niedeki suguha and notare hamon with ash and yo work.
Special feature :The founder of the Yasutugu started from Keicyo era and high reputation
from the shogun Ieyasu and permitted to engrave family crest of Aoi Mon.
From that period, this group made sword with Aoi family crest on the Tang.
This sword belongs to 3rd generation Edo Yasutsugu.
The special feature of the signature Tsugu is different from other Yasutsugu.

So we think the signature must be 3rd generation Yasutsugu Edo saki.
The blade is rather long and healthy blade.

Menuki:On the syakudo plate, shish dod is engraved.
