The blade was polished.
Habaki : Suaka cooper single Habaki.
Blade length : 72.0 cm or 28.34 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi:3
Width at the hamachi : 3.02 cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.93 cm or 0.75 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : This blade is rather healthy and thick katana with small sori like Kanbun shape.
Bo-hi is engraved on both side.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada and Masame hada combined with Jinie attach which is called Oosaka jigane.
Hamon : Bright nioikuchi, Konie based, uneven Gunome midare. And there are Sunagashi like a Kinsuji in Ha. It’s very bright and beautiful Hamon.
Boshi is round shape.
Special feature : First generation Tadatsuna was working at Kanei era and 2nd generation Tadatsuna was a son of his master.
This blade was made by 1st generation Tadatsuna.
This blade's jigane and hamon is gentle feeling and tasteful work. Condition is very healthy without Kizu and rusts.
