The blade was polished
Habaki : Copper plate double habaki.
Blade length : 72.1 cm or 28.38 inches.
Sori : 2.1 cm or 0.82 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.96 cm or 0.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.93 cm or 0.75 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is Ubunakago with regular sized widthm and thickness
middle deeper sori and also longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :Itame had well grained with jinie attach nice texture.
Hamon :Niedeki gunome and chojimidarer mixed with
Bishuu Osafune Sukesada started from early Muromachi period
and been successful until Edo period.
At that time, demanding swords are increasingly high so mass
production system was introduced.
Special feature : The blade is Ubu style one hole nakago with regular size width,
thickness with deep sori and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
The jignae is item had and mokumehada mixed nice Jigane and utsuri appear.
HHamon is active gunome and Cyoji midair.
Even though the blade is called Kazuuchimono but the blade itself very nice Jigane
so the blade was made around Kyoroku era which is called Katateuchi style era.
The signature itself looks good but the sword is consignment sale so we don't guarantee 100% genuine.
I think the sword will pass NBTHK Hozon paper.
Koshirae : without Tsunagi

Saya : Aogai chirashi saya. on the black saya, blue shell powder spread.
