The blade was polished.
Habaki :copper single habaki.
Blade length : 64.3cm or 25.31 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.63cm or 1.03 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.97 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : Rather small Katana with deep Sori. Nice shape blade.
Jitetsu: Ko-Itame Hada well grained. There is Kizu on the Kissaki.
Hamon: Ko-Nie Deki, Ko-Gunome Midare and Ko-Choji Midare.
Special feature : There is a signature Bishu Osafune Sukesada.
We think that this signature is not good. There are some rough texture.
This blade was made around late Muromachi period.
Koshirae: condition is not good. But this is old Koshirae.
Tsuba : Round shape iron Tsuba, the family crest with gold color.
The rim is covered with Shakudo.
Fuchikashira: unkown.
