Width at the Kissaki : 2.22 cm or 0.87 inches.
Kasane : 0.59 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada and mokume hada mixed with jinie attach and also Utsuri appear.
Hamon : Koniedki gunome midare and choji midare mixed with ashi, yo, sunagashi and also small kinsuji work.
Special feature : Sukesada is well known swordsmith from early Muromachi to late Mueomchi period.
This sword was made late Muromachi period.
the signature is mentioned 二二 which means 4 but 4 means Japanese character means death so sukesada avoid to be of bad omen, he cat the signature 二二.
Generally Sukasada's hamon is suguha style but this sword is active gunome choji midare hamon.
If the blade was polished by nugui naoshi, the blade will be changed a lot.
The sword is healthy without kizu.
