Shape : It is wide 3.25cm long sword. It is wide and thick meaty healthy Katana.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attached. It is Muji plain style steel.
Hamon : Nioi Deki Choji Midare with Ashi attached. Boshi tip is round end.
Special feature : Nagamitsu was a Director for Inspection at Okayama Prison.
He was said to be making katana withr the prisoner however, the details are unknown.
probably he was called by Emura who was working at the Okayama prison as a director.
He was an authorized army sword smith and had won prizes at Army Gunto Skill Encouragement Awards.
Nagamitsu has made nice pieces. The well polished swords are much interesting than Yasukuni swords.
Emura and Nagamitsu were making swords a lot in the Okayama prison.
probably director of Okayama prison Emura called Nagamitsu who was making sword at
Okayama prefecture and asked making swords for managing Prisoners.
Emura and Nagamitsu made a lot of swords at that time.
Generally Emura made higher quality blades than Nagamitsu.
I think Emura swords were more higher quality and also polished inside of the prison.
So even if we saw rusty blade, the blade was polished nicely.
This sword is very healthy long sword.
At that timothy made less than 68cm but this sword is long (I saw the first time long Nagamitsu sword like this)
This long Nagamitsu is quite rare and precious.
