The blade was polished.
Blade length : 68.8cm or 27.09inches.
Sori : 2.1cm or 0.83inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.05cm or 1.2inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.26cm or 0.89inches.
Kasane : 0.72cm or inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : It is regular width and thickness and deep sori and long kissaki nice looking shape. The kissaki is long and there is futasujihi at the front and at the back
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear jigane.
Hamon : Konie structure suguha. It is bright ha. Boushi is round end.
Special feature : Kousuke Daijyo Sukesada has the flow from the Bizen school. The signature is most likely fake however, the jigane and shape is nice with no kizu or flaw. It is good condition piece.
If the signature will be removed, the blade will pass NBTHK Hozon Token.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : Round shape iron tsuba with shakudo rim engraved at the both sides. At both sides, there seem to be bird design with
Fuchikashira : Iron plate.
Saya : Black ishimeji saya
Menuki : Shakudo plate with flower design engraved and some parts are inlayed with gold.
Kojiri : Iron plate. Flower pattern design.
