Signature : Bizen Osafune Jyu Sukekane Saku.
Bunkyu 2 Nen 2 Gatsu hi.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku, Jyo saku and regular saku)

The blade was polished by good polisher.
Habaki :Silber single habaki with family crest.
Blade length : 71.51 cm or 28.15 inches.
Sori : 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.08cm or 1.21 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.12 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Late Edo period. 1862, Feb.
Shape : The blade is ralter longer size woth deep sori and longer kissaki.
Jigane : Koitame hada well grained with jiniw attach like Muji style beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki Cyoji midare , Jyuka cyoji midare mixed elegant fantastic Yokoyama Cyoji.
Bosi is midarekomi and round shape.
special feature : Bizen Osafune Jyu Yokoyama Sukekane is adopted son
of Yokoyama Sukemori and also is the brother in law of Yokoyama Sukenaga.
He studied by his master Sukenaga.
The unique choji midare was invented by his mentor Sukenaga.
Later on it was rated highly as unique Yokoyama school hamon.
The gorgeous Jyukka Choji midare is one of the most beloved sword of the sword fans.
on the back side Tomonari 58th generation means Tomonari Bizen tradition.
Yokoyama school first generation Yokoyama Sukenaga made original Cyojimidare hamon and succeeded next generation Sukekane.
They keep making method as his family's top secret.
We find Cyounsai Tsunatoshi also made this kind of Cyoji midare.
But Tsunatoshi doesn't make such kind of swords a lot.
So this style of the hamon is accepted as Yokoyame school's originality.
The blade is very healthy without Kizu and faults.

Saya : On the gray color ishimeji saya, black lines made by black urushi.
Tsuba : On the round shape Yamagane nanako plate ume flowers are engraved by gold color. Mumei(Kanagu Shi) Edo period.
Menuki : On the syakudo plate, flower designe is engraved with gold color.
