Signature: Echizen koku ju Kanenori
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 70.8 cm or 27.87 inches.
Sori : 1.6 cm or 0.53 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.21 cm or 1.26 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.52 cm or 0.99 inches.
Kasane : 0.60 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi to Early Edo period, around Keicho era.
Shape : Shinogi tsukuri, Iori june, wide with deep Sori.
Jitetsu : Itame hada and Mokume hada mix. It looks like Masame.
Hadadatsu. There are Jinie and Chikei.
Hamon : Niedeki, Gunome Midare. Round Gunome and Choji Midare are mixed.
There are many Ashi, Kinsuji and Sunagashi. Nioikuchi is Shizumi style.
Boshi is Jizo-fu, Hakikake style.
Special feature : Echizen koku ju Kanenori was working at Echizen province late Muromachi to early Edo period.
He moved from Mino Seki province to Echizen.
The style and jigane, transfer the style in the Muromachi era with a
swordmaker of Echizen who played an active part in the days of
Edo in the early days, and this product with the attraction is the
splendid work which metal is good.
