Blade length : 67.71 cm or 26.65 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.32cm or 1.3inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.22cm or 0.88inches.
Kasane : 0.78 cm or 0.30 inches.
Era : Showa (1945.8)
Shape : It is wide and thick strong looking katana with some sori.
The kissaki is long and firm looking.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached.
It is clear jigane.
Hamon : Konie ground kogunome line with shoji mix.
There is Ashi well attached. The hamon top is equal length.
Special feature : Minamoto Teruyoshi is a smith that was making
sword at war times. The jigane and hamon is good
and in nice condition. At first glance, it reminds of Tairyuusai Soukan.
Historical background: It is time when the war was almost over and
the defeat of Japan was clear.
