Shape : It has average width and thickness.
It is rather shallow sori. It is nice long end shape piece.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached.
There is masa flow. It is dark and clear jigane.
Hamon : Nie ground gunome midare with some ashi seen in the ha. Boushi is round ended.
Special feature : This sword is made by second generation Harima Daijyo Fujiwara Shigetaka.
The first generation started making sword from Keicho period.
It is typical Echizen sword smith which is similar to that of Hirotaka.
Harimadaijyo Fujiwara Shigetaka has continued for several generations
and has made fine condition swords. This sword is comparably short katana however, the condition is very good.
Koshirae :
Tsuba: Round shape iron Tsuba, flower is engraved.
Menuki: Egg plant with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo, dragon is engraved with gold color.
Saya: Black roiro
