He made this blade with the use of homemade iron in May 2010.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Akamatsu Taro Kanemitsu belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.

Shape : The blade is wide and thick with suitable sori and long kissaki nice looking shape.

Jitetsu : Itame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair and Choji midair mixed with ash, and sunagashi work.
Special feature : Akamatsu Taro Kanemitsu is called Mitsuhiro Kimura and studied fro his father.
Generally his subjects are long and wide swords like this sword.
His reputation is getting higher than before and got the prizes.
Akamatsu Taro school's members are Kanetsugu, Kanehiro, ZKanemitsu ,Kaneteru and Kaneyuki.
This school produce Tamahagane by their own way not using NBTHK Tamahagane.
So the Jigane is rather different quality compare with other swords which use NBTHK produced Tanahagane,
This school's main task is making cut well sword like Kiyomaro.
Therefor they made huge long sword,
cut well swords and well balanced swords.
This sword is well grained and nice Jigane and Hamon.
