Signature : Hitachi Daijyo Fujiwara Kanefusa saku
Shinto: Musashi province.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword belongs to Futsu saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :copper plate with gold color.
Blade length : 74.0 cm or 29.13 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.92 cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo Perid Circa Kanbun (1661-1672)
Shape : It is regular width and thickness. It is shallow sorijKanbun Shinto shape katana.
Jitetus: Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear jigane.
Hamon: Nie deki suguha with koashi appearing partly. Boshi is round turn back.
Special feature : Hitachi daijyo Fujiwara Kanefusa was a swordsmith
from Musashi province whom moved from Mino. It is suguha deki yet long and sharp looking work.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : Iron Tsuba, some designe is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira :Shakudo Nanako, chryanthemun is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Brown color with blue shaell Saya with black striped pattern.
Menuki : Shakudo, chryanthemun is engraved with gold color.
