Width at the hamachi : 3.21 cm or 1.26 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.19 cm or 0.86 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo period. Kanei (1642)
Shape : The blade is about 3 cm suriage and machiokuri nakago.
The blade is rather wide and thick with longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach thickly and chikei work beautiful konuka had.
Hamon : From the hamachi, suguha and then nijyuba(double hamon)
From the middle to Kissaki, thick nioikuchi fat suguha nice nioikuchi.
Boshi is also thick fat nioikuchi hamon and hakikake style.
Special feature : Oumi Daijyo Fujiwara Tadahiro was a son
of the first generation Tadayoshi and studied the technique
from his father.
After his father passed away he succeeded 2nd generation.
He said his name Tadahiro not Tadayoshi during his life.
The age of his succeeded period wa 19 years af age and helped a lot from his father’s students like Kawachi Daijyo Masahiro, Yukihiro, Tadakuni and other students.
Also under the protection of Daimyo Nabeshima family, Hashimoto family could obtain Holland steal.
So Tadahiro school could to make Hizen blade for a long period.
Nabeshima family heavily district to export Hizen blades to other places.
This sword has Uramei ( Kanei 19 Nen 2 Gatsu Kichijitsu.) which is very precious sword.
The blade is Oowaza mono cutting test ranking also Jojo saki high ranking sword.
The condition is perfect without Kizu and flow which was polished perfectly.
