The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 71.3 cm or 28.07 inches.
Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.98 cm or 1.17 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.17 cm or 0.85 inches.
Kasane : 0.62 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Azuchi Momoyama period.
Shape : The blade is suriage nakago and wide and thick with deep sori which is typical Keicyo style nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha based noter and small gunome midare.
In Hamon, ash and yo scatter with deep nioikuchi like morning mist.
Boshi : Notare and round shape.
Special feature : Hizen no kuni Tadayoshi is called Hashimoto Shinzaemon and lived Hizen Nagase province and he was Nabeshima family's sword maker.
At keicyo 1st year, he studied from Umetada Myojyu who was very skillful sword engraving.
At Kanei 1st, he got the title of Musashi Daijyo and changed his name to Tadahiro.
This blade is suriage but the signature is left perfectly.
The width of the Hamachi area and Kissaki area are almost same and long kissaki with deep sori nice looking shape.
The blade is Saijyo Oowazamono(the best cutting well sword)and the top ranking sword in Shinto period.
I think upper part of the quality is Jyuyo Token class.
