Width at the hamachi : 2.95 cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.0 cm or 0.79 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period Circa Kanbun
Shape : It is regular width and thickness shallow wori kanbun shinto shape katana.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained. The hada is clearly seen and there is masa flow.
It is dark strong looking jigane.
Hamon : Nie structure gunome midare with some burned tobiyaki parts.
There are active sunagashi and fine kinsuji streaks seen.
Boshi is hakikake style.
Special feature : Iga no kami Minamoto Kanemichi is a student of HIdari Mutsu Kami Kaneyasu.
There is only few swords left possibly because he has been working under his mentor's sword making.
This Kanemichi is similar to Kaneyasu's work and it is rustless piece of work.

Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanakoji plate with wave engraved.
Menuki : Shakudo plate with flower design engraved and inlaid with gold.
