Do nen 11 Gatsu 23 Hi Senjyu Mitsudo Setsudan Yamada Yoshitomi Tamesu No Motooki Nyudo Syoken Kitae No.
Sayagaki was done by Kunzan sensei.: Ishido Unju Korekazu Motooki Nyudo Syoken Gassaku Mitsudo Setsudan Hacyo 2syaku 1 sun 2bu. Kugayama Bo Kunzan shi.
Explanation : Ishido Unju Korekazu and Motooki Nyudo Syoken made this sword which is called Gasaku(made by 2 person) and after 5 years later November 23rd day at Senjyu tester of Tameshigiri Yamada Yoshitoyo tested the bdy 3tsu do cut.
Shinshinto:Jyojyosaku high ranking:Musashi province.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 64.2 cm or 25.27 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.37 cm or 1.32 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.58 cm or 1.01 inches.
Kasane : 0.76 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : About late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is wide(3,37) and thico with long kissaki .
The moot side is Katakiri way and opposite side is regular Shinogo zukuri style unusual marvelous shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with very thick nioikuchi and sunagashi and also Kinsuji work.
Boshi is gunome midair and kissaki is turns back.
Special feature : Ishido Unju Korekazu is a nephew of Cyounsai Tsunatoshi and called Masataro born Bunsei 3rd(1821)year.
Later on He became adopted son and succeeded 7th generation Korekazu.
First generation Korekazu was making Bizenden scool Ichimonji style.
But 7th generation Korekazu's Hamon is quite different like Soden and mixed up Bizen which is called Sodenbizen.
He teach many student especially fanned by emotional for Sumi Motooki.
Sometimes we find Gasaaku to(sword) Korekazu and Motooki.
At Meiji 2nd year,
he changed his name to Ryusensai but after the Haitorei, he stop his business.
He passed away age 75 years of lad Meiji 24th November 24th.
This sword was made by main part by Ishido Unju Korekazu and Sumi Motooki.
The blade is unusual shape and top ranking wonderful Sodenbizen Hamon and
also precious saidanmei(cutting test) by Yamada Yoshitomi cutting tester.
