Blade length : 74.3cm or 29.23inches.
Sori : 1.5cm or 0.59inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.15cm or 1.24inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.16cm or 0.85inches.
Kasane : 0.87cm or 0.34inches.
Era : Edo Period Circa Kanei(1624-1645)
Shape : It is long blade with some sori/ Kissaki is long
and has the characteristic of Kanei Period.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attached.
There is fine chikei work and the hada pattern could be observed well.
Hamon : Nie Deki gunome midare with ashi attached. Boushi is round and hakikake style.
Special feature : Kawachi daijyo Fujiwara Yoshitane is the sword smith from Echizen.
The jigane is well grained with hada pattern and reminds of Shigetaka works.
It is Kanei period shape blade. It is wide and healthy piece.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : Round iron plate with leaf pattern engraved and inlayed with gold.
Fuchi: Shakudo plate with wave pattern engraved.
There is swirl engraved at the center kashira : shakudo plate with wave design engraved.
Saya : Pine needle pattern saya.
Menuki : Shakudo plate with pattern engraved and inlayed with gold.
