Kenkon Nakamura ryu Battodo Happogiri Ouju Soke Nakamura Taizaburo shi
This blade was made by Mikawa koku ju Fujiwara Motohisa at June 1991.
Demanded from Nakamura Taizaburo.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword belongs to Jo saku ranking.
The blade was polished
Habaki :gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 71.4 cm or 28.1 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.41cm or 1.34 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.42 cm or 0.95 inches.
Kasane : 0.58 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : Modern times.
Shape : Wide and rather thin blade.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Nie deki Norare Gunome Midare. There are many Ko-Ashi.
Boshi is Notare round shape.
Special feature : Motohisa lives in Mikawa province.
He was born in 1934. His real name is Hashimoto Isao.
He is scion of Sekido Unju Korekazu. He studied under his father.
His blade is very shape. The master at Batto Do Nakamura Taizaburo
gives Motohisa order the blade.
This blade is wide and rather thin. It is for edge.
Nakamura Taizaburo wrote a book "Nihonto Seijin to Battodo".
